sEnglish the language for Robots

A new procedural language called system English or sEnglish is under development to improve the communication between humans and robots. A version of sEnglish is scheduled to be released shortly by University of Southampton. It is a hybrid of MATLAB and Standard English through which a thought or idea can be more easily absorbed by machines.

A common language would drastically lower the language barrier that divides human beings and computers today. Present programming languages lower the efficiency of computer networks significantly. sEnglish follows certain explicit guidelines with less emphasis on correct grammar. It can enable development of autonomous robots that do human like reasoning.  For more information on the subject please visit http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43901795/ns/technology_and_science-future_of_technology/
