Intel plans to expand business in Brazil by breaking the language barrier

Intel Corporation based in Santa Clara, California plans to double its business in Brazil by developing software to overcome the language barrier. With a fast growing economy, the Portuguese speaking Brazil is seeing a rising demand in computers. Intel plans to hire home grown programmers to write local language software. According to Steve Long, Intel’s director for Latin America the talent available in local universities is satisfactory. He expects Intel’s revenue in Brazil to double in the next five years.
