Holy Qur’an to be aired in French and English on TV

The Saudi Arabian Holy Qur’an TV Channel recently launched airing of English and French translations of Qur’an. This new initiative is expected to attract viewers from non Arab speaking Muslims. The Holy Qur’an Channel has more than 12 channels that transmit various aspects of Qur’an including the scientific angle as well as training viewers on proper recitation and memorization of the holy book.

According to Abdul Aziz Khoja the culture and information minister of Saudi Arabia translations from 10 reciters of the Qur’an like Abdul Rahman, Abdul Basist, Ali Jaber, Al-Sudais have been recorded in French and English.
